Aligned with their busy event schedule for 2022, and a growing market demand in the country for premium-position advertising space, Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) recently announced a new partnership agreement with Omani out of home advertising firm Mubashir.

The exciting new collaboration will enable OCEC to offer local and international brands a premium opportunity to expand their visibility via indoor/outdoor advertising solutions within the OCEC Precinct. The project will be delivered in three phases in which each phase will have a combination of static and digital solutions.

Furthermore, it will give advertisers the opportunity to deliver targeted messages to high-profile audiences in an interactive manner, and to gain maximum brand exposure and increasing return on investment.

Oman’s premium events and conferencing venue says the planning and site inspections have already begun, and the project’s Phase 1 installation is expected to be completed by Q3 2022. This first phase will provide a combination of indoor/outdoor advertising solutions incorporating both static and digital spaces. Advertising brands will be able to book their space in advance as soon as the networks are finalized and announced.

It includes the 5 Star JW Marriott Hotel linked to the Convention Centre, the 4 Star Crowne Plaza Hotel, and a business park surrounded by a nature reserve, parklands and wadi valley.

According to the OCEC, Mubashir was selected to manage the project’s operations due to their long-standing reputation in the local market for offering premium Out of Home (OOH) advertising solutions. Currently, Mubashir’s network consists of over 120 digital screens and billboards across 60 strategic locations throughout Oman. These collectively generate millions of measured impressions per month for advertisers.

Speaking about the partnership, Said Al Shanfari – CEO, OCEC, stated, “This exciting new partnership comes in line with the growing market demand in Oman for premium-position advertising space.
