Maintenance Supervisor

Position Purpose:
To implement and maintain the maintenance program and ensure its delivery through an effective management system to defined and recognised standards.
Position Requirements:
-
Education 
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering Discipline
  • Training in HSSE & HSSE laws
-Experience & Skills
  • Minimum with 3 years working experience in Maintenance of Civil and MEP services in hotel or large commercial complex.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management system.
  • Knowledge of local statutes and regulations
  • Knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings
  • ¨Knowledge and understanding of good engineering practices
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Ability to communicate well with internal and external customers
  • Ability to draw and interpret circuit diagrams and maintain documentation.
  • Ability to manage and motivate staff to consistently perform.

  • Self motivated person with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to use initiative
  • Flexibility with working hours
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
-Specific Responsibilities’ Standards
1) Event Management:
  • Plan resources according to Event Requirements
  • Prepare Event Plan requirements and assign resources as necessary
  • Identify Event Plan issues
  • Contract Management:
  • Prepare Specifications for maintenance tender and edit tender documents for each period.
  • Carry out regular meeting with contractors to resolve all issues.
Asset Management
  • Plan and Supervise Preventive Maintenance Yearly Plan
  • Monitor all maintenance activities ( PM, CM and breakdown)
  • Initiate all Purchase Request for spare parts and repairs
  • Monitor spare parts stock and re order level
  • Audit spare parts store six monthly
  • Conduct meetings to discuss operational issues, update event/function activities, resolve outstanding issues etc.
  • Monitor and supervise work in progress and initiate remedial action if necessary.
  • Monitor technician and contractor competency and appraise as necessary
  • Monitor Contractors KPI monthly
  • Monitor workload and deadlines and advise Manager if additional resources are required
  • Supervise daily maintenance and routine activities
  • Conduct regular inspections to check on progress of work
  • Work with contractors to ensure compliance with specifications of work
Quality Management
  • Prepare quality processes and standard operating procedures
  • Attend QA auditing and prepare action plan to close any audit comments.
  • Work with internal and external customers to ensure customer’s satisfaction
  • Continually monitor and measure relevancy of work procedures and work instructions and revise OP and SOP to enhance work performance or as advised by QA
