Position Purpose:
To assist and provide support to the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement and maintain a commercially effective Marketing and Communications Plan to promote the Centre, its facilities and services to achieve a profitable business mix, having an experience in Graphic Design and to provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications Team.
-Education:
Bachelor's degree -Graphic design, public relation, Marketing & Communications, literature or any related major
Graphic Design experience e.g.: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role.
Willingness and desire to work in a high-paced, deadline driven environment.
Outgoing personality.
Excellent communications skills at all levels.
Excellent presentation and grooming.
Willingness to work as a team member.
Willingness to accept direction.
Well organized.

Sound oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English language.
Working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages.

Knowledge of data base management.
Ability to prepare and present reports.
Sound understanding and ability to use the internet.
Specific Responsibilities’ Standards
Coordinate for the Marketing and Communications Team.
Maintain and update Media database in.
Day to day liaison with external agencies (PR agencies, media planner, creative agency, print and production).
Assist in planning, production and maintain information (press releases and shelf articles) and photographic material to service media enquiries and support sales activities.
Involved in development and production of promotional items, such as brochures, corporate gifts and display material to support the target sales sectors.
Implement and monitor the Advertising (schedule and creative) and the Press Relations Plan to support target sales sectors.
Service Media enquiries and support sales activities.
Creative design and production input into online publications, email shots, advertisements, bid documents, brochures, service guides, items to be branded , collateral, program booklets, concert programs, flyers, print advertising, trade show stand requirements, corporate gifts and all other printed matter and online items.
Assist the manager marketing and communications exhibitions with production and collation of data for monthly report, including market intelligence and any other tasks as and when required.
General Responsibilities’ Standards
Develop effective relationships with OCEC management and staff, the Owner, Government representatives, business associates, clients and third-party consultants through appropriate communication and a positive attitude.
Identify and resolve cultural and other situations as they arise both internally and externally.
Provision of input to reports and correspondence as required.
Participate in training as directed by the OCEC General Manager.
Other duties as directed by the OCEC General Manager.
