Position Details: AV Planner – Video
Department: Event Operations – AV
Reporting To: AV & Production Manager
Position Purpose:
Responsible for planning, resourcing, and managing all aspects related to Video and Displays in the Audio-visual production department. ensuring the successful planning, resourcing, and safe execution of video operations for a diverse range of events and exhibitions.in addition to a strong general knowledge of event lighting, rigging.
Position Requirements
-Education:
Appropriate Technical Event Production Studies Certificate or Qualified via experience
Experience & Skills
7 years of experience in events video and video processing Planning.
Must have experience in delivering the technical aspects of large-scale conferences and events.
Proven ability to lead a team.
Specialist knowledge of event video switchers,processors, large LED Walls configirations and programing including power and distribution, systems connectivity, video control systems.
Technical background in event production, theatre, or a related field is advantageous.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all rigging activities.
Develop detailed video walls installation and configiration plans that align with event specifications, safety standards, and venue logistics.
Clear understanding of the principals involved in the delivery and planning of event lighting, video, sound for events
An ability to create CAD layouts, technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with video equipment and control systems is a must:

Video Equipment and Presentation
Manage AV equipment inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating repairs and replacements as necessary.

Outlook .
