Audio Visual Planner - video

 

Position Details: AV Planner – Video 
Department: Event Operations – AV 

Reporting To: AV & Production Manager 

Position Purpose: 
 

Responsible for planning, resourcing, and managing all aspects related to Video and Displays in the Audio-visual production department. ensuring the successful planning, resourcing, and safe execution of video operations for a diverse range of events and exhibitions.in addition to a strong general knowledge of event lighting, rigging. 
 
Position Requirements 
-Education: 

Appropriate Technical Event Production Studies Certificate or Qualified via experience 

Experience & Skills 

  • 7 years of experience in events video and video processing Planning. 

  • Must have experience in delivering the technical aspects of large-scale conferences and events. 

  • Proven ability to lead a team. 

  • Specialist knowledge of event video switchers,processors, large LED Walls configirations and programing including power and distribution, systems connectivity, video control systems. 

  • Technical background in event production, theatre, or a related field is advantageous. 

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations during all rigging activities. 

  • Develop detailed video walls installation and configiration plans that align with event specifications, safety standards, and venue logistics. 

  • Clear understanding of the principals involved in the delivery and planning of event lighting, video, sound for events 

  • An ability to create CAD layouts, technical drawings and schematics. 

  • Familiarity with video equipment and control systems is a must: 

  • Power and distribution. 

  • Large Scale LED Walls 

  • Watchout 

  • Analog way 

  • ROSS 

  • Resolume 

  • Vmix, Kommander. 

  • Video Equipment and Presentation 

  • Manage AV equipment inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating repairs and replacements as necessary. 

  • Strong Working knowledge of the following Computer packages: - 

  • AutoCAD 

  • Word 

  • Excel 

  • PowerPoint 

  • Outlook .

  • Self-motivated person with excellent time management skills. 

  • Flexible to work across 7days a week, night and day in a professional corporate environment. 

  • Proven ability to use initiative, creativity and uphold team spirit. 

  • Good numeracy and computer skills 

  • Good communication, problem solving skills, & organization skills. 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Other duties as directed by the AV Production Manager and Event Operations Director.
