AV Technician – Video
Position Requirements:
- Education : Appropriate Technical Event Studies Certification or Qualified via experience
- Experience & Skills:
- 3 years of experience as an AV technician
- Must have hands on experience of installations for the technical aspects of conferences and events
- General knowledge of the installation, operation and control of:-
Power and distribution.
Large Scale LED Walls
Novastar
Vmix, Kommander.
Video Equipment and Presentation
A general knowledge of other AV systems (Sound, Staging, Rigging and lighting).
expertise in video mapping and masking techniques
- and modeling software employed by event technology
- Clear understanding of the practices, procedures and principles involved in the installation of event technology to international standards
- An ability to read and interpret drawings, layouts and schematics
- Working knowledge of the following Microsoft Computer packages:-
Word
Excel
PowerPoint
Outlook
Specific Responsibilities’ Standards:
- Capable of taking the technical lead as required on events on a day to day event basis
- Attend team meetings as required to develop event design, resourcing and the event Programme .
- Ensure all duties and areas of responsibility are delivered to clients expectations as a minimum via best practice and in line with the AV departments Quality Management System.
- Assist in the scheduled maintenance of event equipment as required
- Prompt reporting of any damage to or defects of event equipment to the appropriate parties.
- Assist with the production of company and departmental reports as required.
- Assist colleague as required by sharing specialist knowledge
