Reporting To: Sales Manager - Live Events
Position Purpose
Generate profitable international and regional business sales for the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre through an effective sales process and targeted activities, while providing administrative support to the Live Events Sales Team to achieve set targets.
Position Requirements
Education
- Business Degree – international business or hospitality.
Experience & Skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of database management.
- Understanding and experience in executing telemarketing activities.
- Ability to prepare and present reports.
- Solid understanding of and ability to use the internet effectively.
- Accurate and efficient work practices.

Specific Responsibilities’ Standards
- Promote and represent the services and facilities of the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC) during sales calls, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Manage the results and activities of the Government and Corporate Sales Department.
- Submit client quotations, proposals, and hiring agreements.
- Drive, develop, and maintain close relationships with corporations and government entities by identifying key organizers in each establishment for meetings, conferences, and exhibitions, and establishing a rapport with them.
- Foster strategic partnerships with event organizers.
- Maintain client database and utilize the EBMS system.
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports to the Director of Marketing & Comms and Live events following sales calls.
- Assist in the production and collation of data for the monthly report, including market intelligence and client feedback.
- Support the Director of Marketing & Comms and Live events in preparing the Department's annual Business Plan and Budget.
- Conduct presentations to government and corporate clients.
