H.E. MOHSIN AL BALUSHI
H.E. Mohsin Al Balushi has over 35 years of experience in the fields of tourism, commerce and industry. He is currently occupying a number of leadership roles including chairman of the OCEC advisory board, Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Board of Director of Public Authority for Craft Industries & Chair of Economic Committee, Board of Director of Public Authority for Social Security & Chair of Audit committee, Board of Director of National Records and Archives Authority, Member of Tender Board, Member of the Research Council and Commissioner General of Sultanate of Oman for World Expos.
KHAWLA AL HARTHY
Khawla is the CEO of Injaz Oman, an organization that empowers youth to own their economic success, and a businesswoman with 15 years of corporate work behind her. As a member of Sharaka, Khawla was part of several initiatives to enable Oman’s private sector in playing an active role in the sultanate's social and economic development. She currently sits on several boards including Ominvest, one of the oldest and largest investment companies in the region, OCEC and NBO’s GCC fund. As a youth leader and an advocate of innovation and entrepreneurship, she has taken part in the design and planning of Oman's youth programs during her time as National Youth Commission member, and played an active role representing youths in Tanfeedh, a national program for enhancing economic diversification.
Mr. Walichnowski joined Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN) as CEO in May 2017. He has over 35 years of experience in international real estate development, investment and corporate management in Australia, Europe, North Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Walichnowski has spent 12 years living and working in the Middle East including seven years as the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim Properties where he led the company’s strategy of developing major retail, hospitality and mixed-use projects across the MENA region. During this stint, he executed a Development Agreement with the Government of Oman for the Al Mouj Integrated Tourism Project, the first of its kind in the sultanate. Before working in the Middle East, Mr. Walichnowski spent 12 years in the UK where he was CEO of Lend Lease Europe and then the Executive Director responsible for Strategy and Business Development for Land Securities PLC -UK’s largest listed property group and a FTSE 50 company.
TARIQ AL FARSI
Mr. Al Farsi, CEO of Al Raffd Fund, Public Authority for SME Development Board member, and Chairman of Tender Committee and Entrepreneurship Award in Riyada and Chairman of SME award committee in Oman. He has a successful and distinguishing record of establishing Islamic banks and an experience of more than fifteen years in banking transactions for individuals, companies and investment projects in many regional and international multinational financial institutions. He obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and hotel studies from Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, Egypt and many certificates in finance and accounting. He has passed a wide range of international courses in occupational development. Moreover, he is one of the graduates of Mohammed bin Rashid Center for leadership Development, and alumni of the Business School for the World, and a former member in an arbitration committee for SMEs in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.
KHALID AL ZADJALI
Mr. Al Zadjali has been in charge of planning and execution of initiatives and events to promote tourism in Oman, in the region and internationally. He also supervises the promotion of the country as a destination for Cruise Tourism. His efforts have been very instrumental in the initiation of the development of the Cruise and MICE industries in Oman. He is also representing the MOT as an active member in a number of government committees that handle important economic and social issues. Khalid's efforts continue to contribute in establishing the Oman Convention Bureau (OCB) to be independent department under the umbrella of MOT in March 2016 headed by him. Today he is a member of different international associations related to MICE sector and he became Middle East Chapter Chair of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA).
